Masterdeta section Introduction.

Master data enables users to Create Datasources Datasets, Parameters, Annotations and Datasource Mapping. (Note: Datasource Mapping option is only accessible to users with Administrator privileges)πŸ”’

Master Data tab can be accessed from the main menu. Datasources and other sections under the MasterData tab are only visible if the appropriate privileges have been assigned to the logged-in user,☎️ please contact your administrator if you facing difficulties accessing the sections under the Masterdata tab.

Master Data tab contains the following itemsπŸ“š:

1. Data source Overview​

As per the above-mentioned options, you can create data sources using various metadata like MySQL, Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL or you can use Big Query, OLAP, NoSQL, Flat files, and Custom options. you can provide your data source to multiple users using the data source mapping.

3. Dataset Overview​

Dataset feature provides the functionality to make datasets using required data sources and users can add parameters and hierarchy with the dataset. Also, users can see the preview of the dataset without saving it in AIV. We also provide the feature of adding client script and server script as per user requirements.

Here you have the choice to make datasets from the shared resources like CSV, JSON, EXCEL sheet to fetch the data. moreover, you get the feature to make join and union between the multiple datasets.

4. Group dataset​

The Group dataset provides a feature where users can group the data according to parameters or criteria after making the group of the dataset it will only fetch the required group instead of calling whole data and filtering.

5. Parameter​

In AIV users can create different types of parameters. parameters can use used to take the input from end-users. The parameter can be linked-to dataset parameters.
